Local Sourdough Bread and Sourdough Pastry

The Bread Box is a Minnesota based cottage bakery. We specialize in bread products baked with the sourdough method and other unique and familiar sweets. We’ve teamed up with our local coffee roaster Loxley Coffee to set up and serve our customer base. Our operating hours are the 1st and 3rd weekend of every month, 10am to 2pm. We also attend local events in the area like the Interlaken Heritage Days vendor shows throughout the year.     I decided to start The Bread Box mid pandemic, selling my first loaf in April of 2021 the month after my daughter was born. I’ve been cooking and baking for most of my life as a hobby and my retirement plan had always been to have a hole in the wall destination restaurant. Hopefully, these are the roots for that plan.
